Eureka Springs is perfect for the whole family

Eureka Springs –

Arkansas’ best destination destination for all generations to travel together

What do you want in your summer vacation? Reconnecting with family? Learning more about one another while exploring somewhere new? This summer visit Eureka Springs for a fun-filled large family adventure that doesn’t break the bank. Enjoy watching grandparents and grand kids stroll hand-in-hand. Catch up with siblings and get to know their kids a better. The down-to-earth atmosphere in Eureka allows you to spend more time engaging with those you come with rather than worrying about making it to your next event or fighting traffic.

Start your travel off right by spending some time exploring Lake Leatherwood Park with the entire family. There are hiking trails available, a playground and a lake to swim, canoe & boat in. Pack a picnic and enjoy the outdoors. There are campgrounds and RV hookups available if you want to spend a night camping under that stars. Reserve your campsite online.

One event sure to spellbind everyone in your group is a show at Intrigue Theater with the Illusionist Sean-Paul and the Ghost Talker Juliane. This duo calls Eureka Springs home and the perfect place to develop new material that is then used while they are on tour around the states. The show is a tribute to the Golden Age of Magic in the early 1900s and audiences are kept small and intimate so that everyone in the audience can fully experience the demonstrations. Get a taste of what the show has to offer here. Tickets should be reserved in advance as there is limited seating.

The beauty of visiting a small town like Eureka Springs is that a group can split up and explore the downtown shops and stores without completely separating from the group and getting lost. Wander through downtown Eureka, enjoying your time in the different art galleries while grandparents walk the kids down the waterfall steps or watch taffy being made in Sweet’s Fudge Kitchen. Meet up at the Balcony Bar and Restaurant located in the 1905 Basin Park Hotel for a yummy lunch and break. It overlooks Spring Street and has plenty of seating for the whole family.

After a day in town, take a drive to visit the Passion Play–it is more than just a performance. You can go on a behind the scenes tour, check out the sacred arts center, the Bible museum and more. The sets are realistic and there are live animals. A great photo opportunity is available with the larger than life statue of Christ. The picnic and park area there is a great place to eat snacks and rest up after travelling back in time. Receive 15% off on your ticket purchases with a group of 15+.
